Website Design: what people ask first
How much does a website cost in South Africa?
With me, a basic one-page Shoreline website is R3,450. Fish, a stronger one-pager with planning, Google Analytics and Search Console, is R5,950. A 3–5 page Dolphin website with booking and quote forms is R10,950, and a fully custom Orca build starts at R18,500. Online stores start at R18,500. Hosting, security updates and small changes are R350/month on the care plan. Every project is quoted in writing before work starts.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most websites go live in 5–15 working days, counted from when I have your content: photos, service details, contact details and any logins.
Will my website show up on Google?
Every site ships with page titles and descriptions, a sitemap, fast mobile loading and clean structure, and Fish, Dolphin and Orca sites are connected to Google Search Console and Analytics. Ranking for competitive searches takes ongoing SEO on top of that.
Can I update the website myself?
You don't have to. Send me the change — new text, photos or an offer — and I make it. Small changes are included in the care plan; bigger changes are R750/hour.
Do I own my website?
Yes. On full and final payment you own the final delivered website, content and media.
